Who is behind this
We started in 2023 placing two designers who were faster than anyone we had worked with because they had folded generative tools into an existing craft. The pitch has not changed since: hire the craft, not the software.

How designers get in
Every applicant works through a short paid commission, and an art director marks it rather than a scoring rubric. We look at what they discarded as closely as what they submitted, because editing is the skill that generation does not replace. Most applicants are turned down at that stage.
Why we place people, not retainers
An agency retainer hides who is doing the work. We tell you the designer's name, show you their portfolio, and let you keep them permanently after six months without paying us to release them. That is deliberate, and it costs us money.
What we are deliberately bad at
Volume. We turn down work we cannot staff properly rather than filling a seat, which means we occasionally cannot help on short notice. We also do not run pitches or produce speculative concepts to win business, because unpaid creative work distorts who gets hired.
- Remote designers across five markets
- Every applicant sits a paid commission
- Marked by an art director, not a rubric
- No release fee after six months
Questions about who is behind this
Are your designers employees or contractors?
Independent contractors. They keep their own clients, their own names on the work, and we do not require exclusivity. We say this plainly because misclassification is a real risk in this industry.
What happens if the designer you match me with is wrong?
Tell us in the first two weeks and we swap them at no cost. We treat it as a matching failure on our side rather than a problem on yours, and it costs you nothing.
